Are you one of those people who have incredible yards but can’t see them from anywhere inside the house? There are a couple of things that can be done. You can install a large bay window that peers out toward that garden direction, or put in double patio doors, or go all the way and build a sunroom off your house with 100% window exposure toward your garden area.
If you’re going to go to the effort of making your garden beautiful with a set of outdoor solar lights or a metal gazebo or even a simple wooden garden bench you’ll want to be sure you can see it as often as possible.
Garden windows give you more light into the room, too. So that room of your house also gets more light, will probably brighten your mood and give you a great view. If you already have a small window facing that direction you can knock it out and expand that area by putting in a larger window. Consider a big bay window that has a window bench so you can sit and read a book while gazing outside.
Personally I don’t have a garden that looks good enough to see, but my mother in law does. Her garden is amazing. She even has a backyard pond that attracts a few wildlife animals and has coy fish swimming around. The cats have a great time trying to catch the fish but avoid falling in at the same time.
