There are many forms of home kits for testing drugs available; there are single cassette urine tests, which are sometimes used as a test for cocaine, for testing cannabis and opiate testing etc. There are test cups which test for several variations of drugs all in one go, there are saliva drug tests which also tests for various forms of drug. What can you do if you think a member of your family taking drugs?
First of all it is most fitting to have a discussion with them and ask them about it, try not to sound accusitive and make it clear that you are worried about their health. If the person denies taking drugs but you still believe that they are, challenge them to conform to a drugs test to confirm they haven’t taken drugs. Unfortunately, if they are on drugs they are unlikely to do it voluntarily and unfortunately a lot of tests need the individual’s cooperation. In this situation it is best to get some advice from a doctor or a drugs specialist.
