These days, there are plenty of opportunities in show business, and particularly for musical groups because the music of the 60s is still going as strong as ever. These bands play at all sorts of functions.
Good examples are Elvis Presley and The Beatles not to mention Jerry and the Pacemakers. For different reasons these old groups are not working as a group any more, but their music is still very popular. Therefore, would-be stars dress up like the stars they want to copy, get the right hair style, and play their songs.
The thing is that these groups can operate on a local basis, playing in clubs, and functions and make a decent living, while giving the audience the music they love. These bands are in demand, and you will find Tribute bands Bristol, and in the other big towns nearby such as Bath and Gloucester.
